President Russell M. Nelson and Sister Wendy Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are inviting young adults in Utah from Logan to Nephi to fill the 20,000-seat Conference Center on May 15 for the live broadcast of the Worldwide Devotional for Young Adults.
To encourage young adults to gather before and after the broadcast, buildings on Temple Square will be open from 3 to 9 p.m. These include the Relief Society Building, Assembly Hall, Tabernacle, Family History Library, Church History Museum, Church History Library, Social Hall Avenue Meetinghouse, and Brigham Young Historic Park.
Check out the open buildings with available experiences in the downloadable PDF or the map below.
All young adults ages 18–30 and those in their last year of seminary within a 1.5-hour radius of the Conference Center are encouraged to participate. (Learn how you can watch online.)
Due to limited parking and accessibility concerns related to the construction on and around Temple Square, young adults are encouraged to carpool and mass transit.
The broadcast begins at 6 p.m. in the Conference Center and seating will open at 4:30 p.m. Tickets will be distributed on the Conference Center plaza on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating arrangements will be made inside the Conference Center. Overflow seating will also be available in the Little Theater, Tabernacle, Assembly Hall, and at the Social Hall Avenue Meetinghouse at 95th South and State Street.
After the broadcast, young adults are welcome to explore the Conference Center, including the roof, which offers the best view of the sunset and the construction site of the ongoing renovation of the Salt Lake Temple.
Young adults can enjoy free cookies and bottled water available in various locations after the devotional.
